The ninth edition of the International Exhibition for Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heating, Thermal Insulation, and Energy (ASHRAE Cairo) will kick off from May 5 to 7 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo. The exhibition is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment. The organizing company explained in a statement that the International Refrigeration Exhibition and Conference is one of the specialized exhibitions in the Middle East and North Africa for refrigeration, air conditioning, thermal insulation, ventilation, protection systems, spare parts, handling units, and control devices. The exhibition comes within the framework of the Egyptian government's commitment to supporting local manufacturing and the refrigeration and air conditioning sector. It added that the exhibition primarily targets exports, so foreign delegations have been invited as part of the buyer mission hosting program, which aims to include more than 300 international buyers from more than 35 countries. The program aims to review the latest developments in the Egyptian industry and contribute to concluding export contracts with participating companies. She stated that this year's exhibition will feature more than 350 exhibiting companies, including major companies operating in the field and representing more than 500 global brands. This will be in addition to national pavilions from China, Turkey, Bahrain, Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia, India, Korea, the UAE, Canada, and others. These companies will showcase the latest developments in air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, heating, thermal insulation, and renewable energy technologies worldwide. On the sidelines of the exhibition, a number of seminars will be held as part of the international scientific conference organized by the Ashry Cairo Association. More than 30 local and international experts will present lectures, discussing key topics related to the future of the refrigeration industry, protection systems, spare parts, handling units, control devices, and modern renewable energy systems. More than 25 different free workshops will be held across all exhibition areas, covering a scientific explanation of parts of the air conditioning system, the impact of air conditioning system design on equipment maintenance and operation, and how to develop appropriate maintenance plans to reduce maintenance costs, spare parts consumption, and reciprocating refrigeration compressors. They will also focus on achieving a balance between air conditioning, sterilization, and energy savings, as well as considerations for the installation and operation of central air conditioning systems.
